Hi - I'm looking for any info on the Phillips family living in Krugersdorp in the 1920's-1940's

In particular my paternal grandfather John Llewellyn Phillips. He died a month before my father was born, in July 1951, and my grandmother never spoke of him. As a result we know very little of that side of the family. John was married with children before he married my grandmother, Ada Joan Watson.

I suspect his father was the 1923/1924 Town Magistrate in Krugersdorp, Llewellyn James Phillips, but I have no firm evidence of this. Llewellyn James came from Newport in Wales and was married to Pauline Katherine. I don't have Pauline's maiden name so any info on her would be most useful too.

I also know that John Llewellyn had a brother named Owen.
